hanging on

CC fieldtrip / Pendleton Woolen Mills / Oct. 2010

the weather here's been gorgeous for over a week. like unbelievably. this is a matter worth celebrating, and trust me, normally i would be.

if it weren't for these kids and their overextended schedules, we could go on a picnic or a spend the day at the zoo or something. like the good ol' days circa 2009 when they weren't schooling, fieldtripping, taekwondoing, and swimming 24 hours a day.

but noooooooo, we're too busy learning about thread counts and phonics and the phases of the moon. it's never going to be the same, is it? i sure do miss toddler life, when the most important event of the day was a good poop or a good meal. the things i used to take for granted!
