the site launched monday, friends, and i'm still shaking in my boots. i don't know how to describe exactly how i feel. petrified. exhilarated. grateful. humbled. all of these things and so much more.

one thing that it is imperative for you to understand, however, is that i am ghostwriting this blog. meaning, no one is really supposed to know that there is a face behind the words. when you pay the site a visit, you must forget that i exist! you must help me separate my personal and business lives.

several weeks ago we met up with some of our favorite people in the world to gorge on crab legs together. and oh yeah, it was my nephew gerrard's first birthday ever so his folks picked up the tab. CHA-CHING!

hello friends, i have exciting news.

for the first time in 5 years, i join the working population of the world. you heard me right, i got a job! someone has actually employed me.

by miraculous twist of fate, i have landed an online writing gig and the site launches later this month (knock on wood). i will certainly keep you posted.

as you can imagine, thus being gainfully employed throws a rather large wrench into my otherwise routine and mundane plans.  for the first time in my adult life i will be forced to keep a tight ship and submit material against actual deadlines on a regular, near-daily basis.

this is a frightening proposition for me, i'm sure you understand.

what i'm trying to say is, until i get the hang of this, i'm going to have to put the brakes on my personal time and desist in my relentless pursuit for pleasure and play. translation- things are going to slow down around these here parts for a while, just letting you know.
